Programme
New pieces by Doris Hallmägi and Mingo Rajandi.

Duo ObSolute is a two-member ensemble formed by oboist Riivo Kallasmaa and soprano Jaanika Kuusik. After having performed in various music collectives for years, the two musicians started to collaborate as Duo ObSolute in 2018. The central repertoire of ObSolute ensemble includes interpreting of Gregorian chant and early music in a unique combination – the voice of a soprano accompanied by an oboe – instrument that has been called as the closest one to human voice. Two voices with similarly sounding timbres are interwoven with each other, and the natural sound is sporadically accompanied by some expressive means of multimedia, including the sound editing in collaboration with Doris Hallmägi.
