Julian Milkis, the artist who has performed Giya Kancheli’s clarinet music the most in the world, will bring Kanchel’s short film “I use to hate clarinet” (dir. Olga Antimony, 2020). After that, Julian Milkis and Johan Randvere will perform Kancheli’s “Miniatures”, as well as works by Kancheli’s close friend Arvo Pärt, “Spiegel im Spiegel” and “Variations for the Healing of Arinuschka”.
Julian Milkis has performed in all the major concert halls in the world and is also the last student of the legendary Benny Goodman.
