New Estelon loudspeakers installed in the Arvo Pärt Centre exhibition area

13.01.2026

Estelon, a long-standing supporter of the Arvo Pärt Centre and an Estonian manufacturer of high-quality loudspeakers, has provided the Centre with a new pair of AURA loudspeakers.

Installed in the Centre’s main exhibition area, the new loudspeakers bring the musical component of the permanent exhibition When You Seek from Almost Nothing – works by Arvo Pärt – to all visitors. High-quality, transparent sound is essential when listening to Pärt’s music, as it reveals the music’s essential characteristics. The AURA loudspeakers replace the Estelon YB speakers previously used in the permanent exhibition, which the company placed at the Centre’s disposal in 2018, when the Centre opened its new building to the public.

“Since its opening, the Arvo Pärt Centre has welcomed nearly 180,000 visitors, all of whom have had the opportunity to listen to Arvo Pärt’s music through loudspeakers that allow no sonic detail to be lost. This gives me great pleasure, and I hope the new loudspeakers will bring joy to just as many music lovers,” said Michael Pärt, Chairman of the Arvo Pärt Centre’s Council.

A focus on attentive listening is also integral to the Centre’s educational programmes, in which learners of all ages are introduced to Arvo Pärt’s sound world. Estelon’s donated loudspeakers are likewise used in these programmes.

“The Arvo Pärt Centre is a place where silence and sound carry profound meaning. It is precisely in such an environment that Estelon feels the true purpose of its work is fulfilled, allowing music to sound as it was intended,” said Alfred Vassilkov, founder and designer at Estelon.

“I am very grateful that the Centre has partners like Estelon, with whom we share a similar sensibility and set of values. We have been walking this shared path for over seven years, and the cooperation has been mutually enriching,”  added Michael Pärt.
