The Arvo Pärt Centre Endowment invited patrons of the arts from Estonia and the United States to attend Arvo Pärt’s 90th birthday concerts at Carnegie Hall. The evening began with a charity dinner, joined by cultural figures and entrepreneurs from Estonia and around the world, including Estonian President Alar Karis and Minister of Culture Heidy Purga.

Proceeds from the dinner were directed to the Arvo Pärt Centre Endowment, supporting      the long-term financial sustainability of the Centre and its mission to preserve and share Arvo Pärt’s musical and intellectual heritage worldwide.

‘I am truly grateful that we were able to bring together supporters who feel a close connection to my father’s music and understand the importance of preserving it”, said Michael Pärt, Managing Director of the Arvo Pärt Centre Endowment. ‘We value the generosity of our private supporters and are sincerely thankful for their contribution.’

Estonian companies Estelon, ÖÖD, and LaSpa, together with the New York based Watermill Center – founded by director Robert Wilson to preserve his creative legacy – and the Arvo Pärt Centre, donated items and experiences to the charity auction led by Sotheby’s.

Established in 2021, the Arvo Pärt Centre Endowment supports the long-term sustainability of the Arvo Pärt Centre through philanthropic contributions. The fund is composed primarily of donations and grows through capital investment.
