Eller Girls’ Choir

The spring at the Arvo Pärt Centre will begin with the beautiful voices of Eller Girls’ Choir and E STuudio Girls’ Choir from Tartu. The concert entitled “Sind vaid kiidan” (“I Praise Thee”) will feature works by Liisi Koikson, Veljo Tormis, Pärt Uusberg, Mart Saar, Thomas Tallis, William Byrd and others.

Having grown out of a choir studio established in 2010 at the Heino Eller Tartu Music School, the Eller Girls’ Choir has taken prize-winning places in various competitions. The choir leads a richly creative life where riding the competition carousel alternates with vibrant concert trips. Eller Girls’ Choir is conducted by Külli Lokko, Conductor of the Year by the Estonian Choral Association in 2015.
