Description

The Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir’s annual performance at the Arvo Pärt Centre has become a cherished tradition. Throughout the year 2025, the choir has celebrated Arvo Pärt’s 90th birthday with a vast number of concerts across the world, giving composer-dedicated programmes at the Philharmonie de Paris, the BBC Proms and the Barbican in London, the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, as well as in Macau, São Paulo, Argentina, and New York’s Carnegie Hall.
The concert at the Arvo Pärt Centre serves as a prelude to the choir’s upcoming tour of the United States. In addition to Pärt’s works, the programme also pays tribute to Veljo Tormis on his 95th anniversary and Luciano Berio on his 100th anniversary.
