The Grammy-award winning Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir is one of the world’s most famous musical collectives. Their extensive repertoire ranges from Baroque to 21st century music where Arvo Pärt’s works enjoy a special place. The chamber choir has a strong relationship with Pärt’s music over many decades. At this concert, the current chief conductor Kaspars Putniņš intertwines Arvo Pärt’s music with the works of Johann Sebastian Bach.
