Description

The Israeli ensemble Barrocada is one of the most colorful performers of Baroque music. Founded in 2007 by a group of passionate young musicians led by viola da gamba player Amit Tiefenbrunn, the Barrocada ensemble is now one of the most outstanding ensembles on the Israeli musical scene, giving concerts all over the world. The ensemble members, all graduates of leading European academies, specialize in early music and play on period instruments.

The concerto as a musical form was born in the Italian baroque and became famous and appreciated by the audiences thanks to composers like Giuseppe Torelli, Arcangelo Corelli and of course Antonio Vivaldi, who composed over 400 of them. This concert is dedicated to this wonderful Art.

The listeners in Estonia have enjoyed the performances of Barrocada in different parts of the country and the ensemble also visited the Arvo Pärt Centre already in 2021. Now they will be giving their first full concert at the Arvo Pärt Centre.
