For the second summer in a row, a concert-masterclass will take place in cooperation with Järvi Academy and the Arvo Pärt Centre. The internationally recognized Pärnu Music Festival, which is taking place for the twelfth time, combines both master classes and workshops for musicians wthing the framework of the concert program and the Järvi Academy. This year, the festival celebrates Neeme Järvi’s 85th birthday.

The Baltic Sea Philharmonic chamber orchestra will be conducted by the participants of the master classes. The program will present a selection of music from the 20th century including Maurice Ravel, Igor Stravinski, Béla Bartók and Arvo Pärt.
