Description

The Trinity College Chapel Choir sings weekly Choral Evensong at Trinity College, Oxford. The group is made up of singers from colleges all over the university and includes both undergraduates and postgraduates. At the moment the choir’s membership is at an all-time high of around 30 singers. There are several choral scholars in each voice part, who sing in an additional service of Choral Compline every Wednesday. The choir’s repertoire ranges from music by composers from the early Renaissance to late 20th century. Some particular favourites are Stanford, Vaughan Williams, and Howells.

The choir’s tour to Estonia and Latvia is the latest in a long-standing tradition of European summer tours. In the previous two years, the destinations have been Lyon and Brescia. We cannot wait to explore both countries, and especially to get to know their rich choral traditions.
