On May 20, the Arvo Pärt Centre will once again take part in the national Museum Night, this time titled “Movement in the Night”. This topic was chosen because 2023 is the year of movement in Estonia, which focuses on healthy lifestyle and movement habits. The topic was chosen by museum employees all over Estonia.

Programme:

7 to 8:30 pm Listening together – Tõnu Kaljuste (in the hall)
9:30 to 10:15 pm Bowrain (Slovenia, piano) (in the hall)
6 to 11 pm The guests can visit the permanent exhibition “When you seek from almost nothing”, watch the documentary about Arvo Pärt’s life and work “Thirst for Music” and climb up the observation tower.

NB! The café is open from 8 to 11 pm!

Museum Night is an annual cultural event that takes place on a Saturday evening in May when dozens of museums and memory institutions across Estonia open their doors. On Museum Night, the participating museums, memory institutions and places to visit are open from 6 to 11 pm.”
