Valdur Mikita is a writer and semiotician and author of the well-known books Metsik lingvistika (Wild Linguistics), Lingvistiline mets (Linguistic Forest) and Lindvistika ehk metsa see lingvistika (Birduistics, or To Hell With Linguistics).
