Description

On 20 March, the brilliant musicians Theodor Sink (cello) and Sten Heinoja (piano) will delight the audience with the programme “Songs of the Night”, touching on the more hidden and darker side of the human soul. The concert will feature works for cello and piano by Tõnu Kõrvits, Mihkel Lüdig, Anatolijus Shenderovas and Alfred Schnittke, all of which can be called songs without words.
Theodor Sink, Principal Cello of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, was recently awarded the title of Interpreter of the Year by the Association of Estonian Professional Musicians, for his prolific, outstanding and diverse high-level concert activities. Pianist Sten Heinoja, now more widely known thanks to the TV competition “Klassikatähed” (Classical Stars), has become one of the more unique-sounding interpreters who performs with palpable enjoyment: he is welcome on stage as a soloist as well as a member of different chamber ensembles.
