Arvo Pärt Centre to open its doors on Museum Night Estonia

11.04.2018

On 19 May the Arvo Pärt Centre will again participate in the Estonia-wide event, Museum Night Estonia. For the last time, you can visit the Centre at its current location in the Aliina building. This year’s Museum Night carries the title Night of Parties and is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia.

The Museum Night programme at the Arvo Pärt Centre includes:

A concert by young musicians from Tallinn Music High School, performing the works of Estonian composers. Writer Tõnu Õnnepalu will give a talk (to be recorded for the Night University radio broadcast) reflecting on the meaning of holiness and celebration. As in previous years, guided tours will be organised on the premises and the event will conclude with a night concert.
