Arvo Pärt continues to be the most performed composer in the world for the 4th consecutive year


The largest classical event database Bachtrack has officially released the charts about 2014 performance statistics, confirming Arvo Pärt as the most performed living composer in the world for the 4th consecutive year.

He was followed by fellow contemporary composers John Adams and Philip Glass. During the last year the most performed composers in general were again Beethoven, Mozart and Bach. Arvo Pärt was listed as 37th compared to 38th position in the previous year.
