On 6 October, Estonian Public Broadcasting together with the Arvo Pärt Centre and the Children’s Music Studio of Estonian Radio will release a new disc entitled “Songs from Childhood” introducing a selection of children’s songs and piano pieces composed by Arvo Pärt for plays and animations between 1956 and 1970, with close to ten previously unreleased pieces.
A concert performance to launch the disc will take place on 6 October, at 7 pm at the Russian Cultural Centre as a part of the 2015 Sügisjazz festival.
