Description

Mid-October brings a fresh and youthful breeze onto the stage at the Arvo Pärt Centre with a performance by E STuudio Youth Choir and Eller Girls’ Choir. Both collectives are conducted by Külli Lokko, who was awarded Conductor of the Year by the Estonian Choral Association in 2015.

One of the representative collectives of the City of Tartu, E STuudio Youth Choir was established in 2013. Their repertoire mainly includes contemporary choral music. Having grown out of a choir studio established in 2010 at the Heino Eller Tartu Music School, the Eller Girls’ Choir has taken prize-winning places in various competitions. Both collectives live a richly creative life, where riding the competition carousel alternates with vibrant concert trips.

The programme for the autumn concert at the Arvo Pärt Centre will include works by Estonian composers.
