Pierre Boulez 100

Festival Afekt pays tribute to the centenary of Pierre Boulez with a solo recital by pianist Michael Wendeberg. Few artists are as intimately familiar with the music of Pierre Boulez as Michael Wendeberg, who worked closely with the composer for several years as pianist of the Ensemble intercontemporain. The concert concludes with “Sonatine” for flute and piano, where Wendeberg is joined by flutist Monika Mattiesen.
