The path to one’s own sound
On a tour through the rooms of the centre, we will get an overview of Arvo Pärt’s life and work. We will listen to a few of Arvo Pärt’s pieces together and look at the composer’s musical manuscripts. We will also follow the birth of a composition from the first ideas to the finished work and its performance, together reflecting on composing music and searches for sound.
The programme lasts for two hours. There is a 300-metre forest path leading from the parking lot to the building. Please consider this in your schedule and dress accordingly.
Our educational programmes are run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, upon pre-registration. If necessary, we can be flexible and will try to accommodate your wishes.
Price: 12 euros per student; free of charge for two teachers accompanying the group. The minimum number of participants is 10 children, and the maximum is 50 children.
Please register your visit at least two weeks in advance by contacting info@arvopart.ee.
We are looking forward to welcoming you!
