For the second year, the Arvo Pärt Centre will award residency scholarships to offer artists the opportunity to dedicate themselves to their work at the Arvo Pärt Centre. This year, one scholarship is intended for a representative of the world of music and the other for a creative person working in another art form. The only application round this year will open on 17 January and the deadline for applications is 31 March. Apply HERE.
The residency at the Arvo Pärt Centre is open to creative people who need a calm and inspiring environment for creative activities and finding new ideas. The duration of the residency is from 1 to 4 weeks, the scholarship covers the resident’s transport costs, accommodation at the nearby LaSpa hotel and also includes a daily allowance.
In addition to a creative workroom at the centre, residents can use the library and, by agreement, other rooms and available musical instruments.

The Arvo Pärt Centre opened the residency programme in 2021 and awarded residency scholarships to Austrian composer Annamaria Kowalsky and Belarusian composer Volha Padhajskaya .
The creative workroom at the Arvo Pärt Centre can also be rented outside the scholarship programme by writing to info@arvopart.ee.
